Can I transfer my NHS pension?

NO: GOVERNMENT PENSIONS CAN’T BE TRANSFERRED

Can I transfer my teachers pension?

NO: This is an unfunded government pension.

I worked in the UK for 2/3 years, do I have anything?

DEPENDS: If you are talking about the state pension, then no. YOU NEED A MINIMUM OF 10 YEARS TO QUALIFY FOR ANY STATE PENSION BENEFITS.

If you worked for a private company then you may have pensions assets in the UK, if you were a member of that company’s pension scheme.

Can I transfer my state pension benefits?

NO

I lost track of my pension; can I find it?

YES: You will need as much information as possible, including your national insurance number. Complete the form on the advert and we can help you look for it.

My Mother/Father worked in the UK before they died and may have had a pension there, can I claim it?

NO: State pensions do not pass through inheritance. A Defined Benefit Pension (final salary) will also not be passed down to children except in the case that the child was under 18 at the time of the members passing, or under 23 but still in full time education.
